Canon reveals world's smallest and lightest SLR camera EOS 6D
World's smallest and the lightest ever single-lens-reflex ( SLR) camera is here courtesy Canon as they revealed EOS 6D just before Photokina 2012 trade show on cameras in Koln, Germany.
Having a 35mm full-size CMOS image sensor the camera measures 144.5×110.5×71.2mm and main body (without any lens fitted) weights 680 grams only. The camera is a killer when it comes to taking high resolution clear pictures with its CMOS sensor having 20.2 million pixel count and Digig 5+ image processor. The camera also boast-off LAN capability and GPS function so that you can store data in the cloud, post pictures on SNSes, share pictures between two cameras, use with smartphones and much more.
When EOS 6D will be finally released it will come preloaded with an application called EOS Remote which enables you to display image taken by the camera on screen of smartphone and also use your smartphone to remotely operate the camera.
